LADY KNIGHTS SLAY DE ANZA MOUNTAIN LIONS, 3-0

In a dominating performance, the Shasta volleyball team secured a victory over De Anza with a final score of 3-0 on September 27, 2024.

The Shasta team showed their prowess right from the beginning, winning the first set with a score of 25-19. They continued their strong performance in the second and third sets, winning with scores of 25-17 and 25-18 respectively.

Madelyn Frick stood out for the Shasta team, contributing significantly with 16 kills and a hitting percentage of .481. She was well-supported by Emerie Brown, who added 6 kills and 17 digs to help secure the victory.

On the De Anza side, Claire Sugrue put up a good fight with 7 kills and 9 digs, but it was not enough to overcome the strong performance of the Shasta team.

Overall, the Shasta team displayed excellent offensive and defensive skills, maintaining a hitting percentage of .312 throughout the match. Their solid teamwork and strong individual performances were key to their success against De Anza.
