KNIGHTS SPLIT FOUR MATCHES ON WEEK

Shasta 3, San Francisco 1
The Knights won 25-21, 17-25, 25-22, 25-19 behind Jennifer Troxclair's team-best 13 kills. Olivia Kaczmarek had eight kills and Aliyah Rosado Cruz and Danae Ford had seven kills apiece and Olivia Sladek added six kills. Rosado Cruz totaled 19 assists and Ford added 15 assists and four aces. Brittney Patton registered 29 digs to lead Shasta.

Ohlone 3, Shasta 0
The Knights lost 25-23, 25-22, 25-22. Troxclair finished with 10 of the 19 kills for Shasta, Rosado Cruz added 10 assists and 11 digs and Patton led the team with 12 digs.

Shasta 3, Los Medanos 1
The Knights edged the Mustangs 26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 29-27, registered seven kills in each set. Ford led the way with eight kills, followed by six kills from Troxclair, five each from Charly Simpson and Rosado Cruz and four from Kaczmarek. Rosado Cruz had 15 assists and Patton tied her season high with 29 digs. Simpson added four assisted blocks and three solo blocks.

Hartnell 3, Shasta 1
Shasta won the second set to even it at one but faltered in the final two, losing 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 25-18. Ford had a triple-double with 11 kills, 12 assists and 14 digs, while Rosado Cruz added seven kills and 16 assists. Patton's 15 digs paced Shasta.

Shasta College hosts Sacramento City College Saturday for the final match before beginning Golden Valley Conference play against College of the Siskiyous on Oct. 4.
