REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's women's soccer team lost a pair of Golden Valley Conference matches last week, dropping a 4-0 contest to Butte College and an 8-0 home match to Lake Tahoe.

In the loss to Butte, Shasta surrendered two goals in each half. The Roadrunners scored in the 7th minute and the 38th minute, then the 53rd and 81st minute. Reagen Mello totaled 11 saves on 15 attempts for the Knights, who had four shots on goal of their own.

Against Lake Tahoe, Shasta allowed four goals in each half. Mello and Lillian Killgore each had six saves and allowed four goals. The Knights had four shots in the match.

Shasta (1-7) plays at Feather River on Tuesday.
