Riley Wallen was born and raised in Redding.  She attended Foothill High School, where she played basketball for four years and graduated in 2019.  She then continued her basketball journey at Shasta College, earning All-Conference honors in the 2021-2022 season.  After that, she went to Simpson University on an athletic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science in 2024.  Now, in her first year as an assistant, she is “Thrilled to make a significant impact both in the weight room and on the court, and is so happy to be back in the program she loves.”
