KNIGHTS CAPTURE 10 WINS AT HOME MEET

REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's track and field team captured 10 event wins at the Shasta College Spring Break Kick Off Meet.

The Knight women had six event wins, including three from Alyssa Burke, who won the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Abigail Moore won two events and Sara Peters won the javelin.

For the Knight men, Anthony Pigoni-Covington won the high jump and long jump while Rief Ehlerding and Jackson Reindel each won an event.

Shasta competitors had three CCC A qualifying marks and one CCC B mark.

MEN
100 meters: Anthony McFall was second (11.13), Cameron Williams was fifth (11.50), Holden Gilbert was 10th (11.62), Jonathan Simon was 15th (11.86), Jordan Hernandez was 19th (12.22).

200 meters: McFall was second (22.96), Williams was fourth (23.48), Simon was seventh (23.63), Hernandez was 15th (25.10).

800 meters: Jackson Reindel won in 1:57.93, Gage Bellomo was fourth (2:00.43), Devon Hammeke was fifth (2:11.59), Ehlerding was sixth (2:12.08).

1,500 meters: Ehlerding won in 4:19.89 and Jonathan Wetz was second in 4:34.85.

4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Gilbert, McFall, Simon and Williams was second (43.59).

4x400 Relay: Shasta's team of Reindel, Bellomo, Gilbert and Hammeke won in 3:33.88.

High Jump: Pigoni-Covington won with a CCC B qualifying jump of 6-0.75. Evan Dobson was third (5-8.75).

Long Jump: Pigoni-Covington won with a jump of 21-6.25. Dobson was eighth (18-3.75).

Shot Put: Chase Barnes was seventh (35-3.25).

Discus: Barnes was ninth (68-0).

Hammer: Barnes was third (106-3).

Javelin: Barnes was fourth (134-4).

WOMEN

100 meters: Abigail Moore won (12.84), Reese Adams was third (13.43).

200 meters: Moore won (26.83).

4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Chloe Whitmore, Moore, Peters and Adams was second (51.44).

High Jump: Burke won with a CCC A qualifying mark of 5-3.

Long Jump: Burke won with a jump of 16-10.75, Peters was third (14-9.75), Adams was fourth (14-5.75).

Triple Jump: Burke won with a CCC A qualifying mark of 36-6.75.

Javelin: Peters won with a CCC A qualifying mark of 112-5.
