MARYSVILLE, Calif. – The Shasta College men's and women's track and field team won seven events and had 30 top five finishes at the Yuba College Invite Saturday.
The Knights' Alyssa Burke was a triple-event winner, capturing the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Grace Southern was as double-event winner in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 400 hurdles.
For the men, Jayden Gordon won the javelin and Brock Fischer won the 110 hurdles.

MEN
100 meters: Tyler Carey was fourth (11.59), Gordon was fifth (11.64). In the preliminaries, Gordon ran 11.26 and Carey ran 11.29. Bradley Murray was 11th in the prelims (11.87) and Ethen Collins was 13th (12.22).
200 meters: Kenyon Riley was third (22.99), Murray was fifth (24.66), Collins was seventh (24.97).
800 meters: Jacob Garrett was second (2:05.87), Jeshua Wilkinson was seventh (2:24.55).
1,500 meters: Marcus Francescut was second (4:25.51), Isaiah Wilson was sixth (6:17.37).
110 hurdles: Fischer won in 16.22.
3,000 Steeplechase: Francescut was third (11:33.81), Garrett was fourth (11:50.20) and Wilkinson was sixth (13:43.99).
Pole Vault: Aaron Young was second (12-8) and Chad Cooper was third (11-8).
Long Jump: Shawn Scribner was fourth (19-9.5).
Triple Jump: Scribner was second (40-10.5).
Shot Put: Jonathan Wilson tied for sixth (36-11), Davis Murphy was eighth (35-8.75).
Discus: Wilson was fourth (104-6), Murphy was sixth (103-10).
Hammer Throw: Murphy was third (116-6) and Jonathan Wilson was seventh (83-0).
Javelin: Gordon won in 150-6, Gavin Dobson was second (137-8), Young was third (127-2), Wilson was fourth (101-8) and Chad Cooper was fifth (52-0).
WOMEN
800 meters: Angelique Escobar was second in 3:59.35.
1,500 meters: Escobar was second in 8:14.82.
100 hurdles: Sydney Perkins was third in 18.90.
400 hurdles: Grace Southern won in 1:15.30.
3,000 Steeplechase: Southern won in 13:07.92.
High Jump: Burke won with a jump at 5-4.25.
Pole Vault: Perkins was second (10-8) and Matteya Ruiz was third (10-2).
Long Jump: Burke won with a jump of 16-10 and Ruiz was second (15-0.5).
Triple Jump: Burke won with a jump of 38-4.25.
