SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Eleven Knights competed at the Bobby Miyashiro Invitational at Santa Rosa Junior College last week.
Shasta's women's team was sixth with 196 points while the men were eighth with 124 points.
Gabrille Mino led the women's team with 45 points, which was 10th overall out of 99. Jacob Thulin paced Shasta with 39 points, which was 23rd overall for the men out of 140.
WOMEN
Mino collected 45 points across three events. She was second in the 100-yard butterfly (1 minute, 1.91 seconds), fourth in the 200 Individual Medley (2:23.25) and sixth in the 100 backstroke (1:06.48).
Karlee Rowe collected 33 points. She was fourth in the 50 freestyle (25.93), eighth in the 100 back (1:08.62) and 10th in the 200 free (2:11.33).
Kellie McGee racked up 17 points. She was 10th in the 500 free (6:07.44), 11th in the 100 back (1:12.05) and 13th in the 200 free (2:16.10).
Ellie Radzille had 12 points, all from taking seventh in 1-meter diving (136.05 points).
Camille Erickson had seven points. She was 13th in the 50 free (31.61) and 14th in 1-meter diving (73.7 points).
Brooke Seagrave had four points after taking 13th in 1-meter diving (85.9 points).
MEN
Thulin had 39 points, taking fourth in the 50 free (22.09), sixth in the 100 fly (54.84) and eighth in the 100 back (56.11).
Matthew Beam had four points, taking 14th in the 50 free (23.38) and 16th in the 100 fly (1:07.29).
Paden Nelson collected four points, finishing 13th in the 500 free (5:22.99).
Kyan Klinger collected two points, taking 16th in both the 50 free (23.89) and the 200 free (2:00.33).
Alex Rhodes was 16th in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.88).
