REDDING, Calif. – The Shasta College men's basketball team lost a pair of Golden Valley Conference games, falling to Butte College 109-76 on the road and to College of the Redwoods 95-74 at home.

The Knights trailed by one at half but were outscored 70-38 in the second half. Shasta shot 85 percent from the free throw line but was outrebounded 52-33. Aramane Collins recorded a team-high 22 points and six rebounds off the bench, Kendall Gerig scored 14 points, Aiden Pearsall-Morgan scored 12 points and dished four assists and Hunter Warren scored eight points.
Redwoods 95, Shasta 74
Shasta was down 54-38 at halftime and was outscored by five points in the second half. Carson Kingston scored 23 points, Benjamin Keown scored 12 points to go with eight boards and Warren scored 14 points. Gerig scored 11 points off the bench and Pearsall-Morgan dished 10 assists.
