Cody is a Shasta County local. He graduated from Shasta High School before attending Shasta College and then transferring to University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) to finish his bachelor’s in psychology and compete in Track and Field. Cody has coached high school football and track and has been involved in the educational field in the area since he graduated from UCSB. He is currently the EDGE Coordinator at Shasta College and is also in the process of finishing his master’s in psychology at Arizona State University. He will also be taking over the throws job for Shasta College Track and Field in the spring.
