Shasta College

Head Coach for the Lady Knight’s Amy Knowles has over 20 years combined involvement with the Shasta College softball program, first as a player and then a coach. She graduated from Enterprise High School in 1990 and played with distinction at Shasta College, earning Hall of Fame recognition for her work on the softball field. Amy still holds the all-time putout record here at Shasta and was a 2-time All-GVC 1st team selection for the Lady Knights. She was also named 1994 ASA National Tournament MVP and All-American for the now famous “Nor-Cal Shots” women’s fast-pitch National Champions. After her time at Redlands University and Chico State, Amy married Ron Knowles and they have 4 beautiful children, Thurman, Makenze, Tucker and Turner!
