EUREKA, Calif. – The Shasta College men's cross-country team finished in 16th place at the NorCal Cross-Country Championships at College of the Redwoods over the weekend.
The Knights scored 436 points for a total time of 2 hours, 18 minutes, 23 seconds. The average 4-mile time for Shasta's five competitors was 27:40.
Shasta's top runner was Rief Ehlerding, who finished 79th in 26:07 for an average mile time of 6:31.8. The Knights' Devon Hammeke was 88th in 27:12 (6:48.3 average mile), Jonathan Wetz was 89th in 27:13 (6:48.3 average mile), Moses Bigelow was 95th in 28:44 (7:11 average mile) and Jackson Reindel was 97th in 29:07 (7:16.8 average mile).
