REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's volleyball team was swept by College of the Siskiyous and Feather River College in Golden Valley Conference matches.

Against Siskiyous, Shasta lost 26-24, 25-19, 25-23. Brooke Vaughan totaled 10 kills and 15 digs for a double-double while Emma Mangini contributed eight kills and Emmarae Westphal added seven kills and 12 digs. Jacie Clavelle had 11 assists and Rose Young racked up 17 assists to go with eight digs.

The Knights lost to the Golden Eagles 25-12, 25-9, 25-7. Shasta managed 10 kills in the match, four each from Westphal and Mangini. Vaughan had a team-high 16 digs while Riley Hirsch had 12 digs and Clavelle and Young each had 11 digs.

Shasta falls to 1-7 in GVC play with the two defeats with two more conference games remaining.
