REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's women's soccer team lost their season opener on the road to Truckee Meadows Community College 4-0.

The Knights surrendered two goals in the first half, the first coming in the 4th minute and the second in the 40th minute. Truckee added two more in the second half, one in the 55th minute and 70th minute.

Jayda Johnson had eight saves on 10 opportunities in 75 minutes in goal for the Knights while Lillian Killgore had three saves in five chances in 15 minutes.

Shasta had one shot on goal coming from Sophia Triantafyllou.

Shasta (0-1) plays at Modesto on Wednesday.
