Ian Montague will be serving as the throws coach for Shasta College. He is a returning member of the Shasta Track program, having practiced with the team for a duration of four years, competing in two seasons across all four throwing events. Discus is his favored event, in which he reached the conference podium.

Ian was born and raised in Redding California and graduated from Redding Christian High School where he has coached track and football for the past five years. He is currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering from San Jose State.
