REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College had nine total event wins at its Cody Beaumont Invitational, six coming from the men and three from the women.
Anthony McFall was a double-event winner (100 meters and 200 meters) and Abagail Moore also won the 100 and 200 for the women.
MEN
100: McFall won in 10.63, Jordan Hall was eighth (11.45), Cole Crossen was 15th (11.68), Jonathan Simon was 17th (11.71).
200: McFall won (22.34).
400: Brandon Berens won (52.67), Simon was second (52.78), Lester Burks was sixth (56.70).
800: Andre Aflague was third (2:13.93).
1,500: Harrison Vietti was third (4:31.09), Lucas Scott was fourth (4:36.27).
400 hurdles: Crossen won (1:00.52), Kyle Carter was second (1:02.67).
4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Hall, McFall, Simon and Caden Rowe was second (44.60).
4x400 Relay: Shasta's team of Aflague, Berens, Burks and Carter won (3:39.52).
High jump: Evan Dobson was fourth with a jump of 5-10.
Pole vault: Isiah Sherman won (12-5.5).
Long jump: Dobson was sixth (18-11.75).
Shot put: Gavin Skerik won (44-1.25), Judah Werner was 12th (33-8.5), Chase Barnes was 17th (30-5.75).
Discus: Layton Dunlap was third (124-0), Skerik was fourth (121-7), Barnes was 10th (98-7), Werner was 11th (98-4).
Hammer: Werner was fourth (131-9), Skerik was 10th (99-5), Barnes was 13th (83-2).
Javelin: Dunlap was third (140-11), Barnes was sixth (133-5).
WOMEN
100: Moore won in 12.47, Reese Adams was second (13.01).
200: Moore won in 26.07, Emma Gaddy was second (26.74).
4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Adams, Gaddy, Moore and Brooke Vaughan won in 52.85.
Pole vault: Sarah Peters was second (8-11.75).
Long jump: Adams was second (15-5).
Shot put: Ashley Hansen was fourth (28-7.75), Vaughan was ninth (25-3.5).
Discus: Baughan was seventh (88-5), Hansen was eighth (86-1).
Hammer: Vaughan was seventh (94-6), Hansen was ninth (81-6).
Javelin: Peters was third (108-4), Vaughan was fourth (98-8), Hansen was ninth (72-0).
