ASHLAND, Ore. – Shasta College's track and field team won five events at the Raider Invite at Southern Oregon University.
Alyssa Burke was a triple event winner, capturing the women's high jump, long jump and triple jump and Anthony Pigoni-Covington was a dual event winner by taking first in the high jump and long jump.
MEN
100-meter dash: Anthony McFall was second (10.89), Holden Gilbert was sixth (11.20), Jonathon Simon was 11th (11.49), Eli Cortinas was 13th (11.56), Cameron Williams was 14th (11.56) and Jordan Hernandez was 21st (12.09).
200-meter dash: McFall was third (22.58), Gilbert was 12th (23.08), Simon was 15th (23.19), Cortinas was 23rd (23.68) and Hernandez was 25th (24.93).
800 meters: Jackson Reindel was second (1:57.07) and Gage Bellomo was third (1:58.50), Rief Ehlerding was 24th (2:12.28), Jonathan Wetz was 25th (2:15.09) and Devon Hammeke was 26th (2:16.18).
1,500 meters: Ehlerding was 12th (4:19.13), Hammeke was 18th (4:37.30), Wentz was 19th (4:38.41) and Craig Hall was 22nd (5:27.80).
4x400 Relay: Shasta's team of Reindel, Bellomo, Hammeke and Gilbert was second (3:29.05).
High Jump: Pigoni-Covington won with a jump of 6-7.75 and Evan Dobson was seventh (5-7).
Long Jump: Pigoni-Covington won with a jump of 22-6.5 and Dobson was ninth (17-5.25).
Shot Put: Chase Barnes was 12th (36-3.5).
Discus: Barnes was 17th (71-1).
Hammer: Barnes was 11th (84-5).
Javelin: Barnes was 12th (128-11).
WOMEN
100-meter dash: Abigail Moore was third (12.59), Chloe Whitmire was fourth (12.61) and Reese Adams was seventh (13.35).
200-meter dash: Whitmire was fifth (26.38).
4x100 Relay: Shasta's team of Whitmire, Moore, Sara Peters and Adams was fourth (50.98).
High Jump: Burke won with a jump of 5-6.5.
Long Jump: Burke won a jump of 17-4.25, Adams was sixth (16-1.5), Peters was eighth (14-7.75).
Triple Jump: Burke won with a jump of 38-3.25.
Javelin: Peters was 11th (106-7).
