REDDING, Calif. – The Shasta College softball team split a Golden Valley Conference road doubleheader with Feather River College, winning 3-2 and losing 8-0.

The Knights scored all three runs in the third inning with a two-run double from Macey Bunn and an RBI single from Khloe Forrister. Bunn was 2 for 3 with a double, RBI and a run. Whitney Carnes, Forrister and Autumn Campbell each had a hit. Carnes struck out four, walked one and allowed two runs on six hits in her complete game win.

Feather River 8, Shasta 0 (6 innings)
The Golden Eagles' ended the game on a walk-off RBI triple. The Knights managed four hits in the game, three from Bunn who was a perfect 3 for 3. Cora Peterson was 1 for 3. Carnes struck out three, walked two and gave up five earned runs on eight hits in 5.1 innings.

Shasta wraps up the regular season 8-12 in GVC play and 15-20 overall.
