SHASTA FALLS TO BUTTE, SISKIYOUS

REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's men's basketball team lost twice during the week, suffering an 84-69 home defeat to Butte College and losing 71-63 to College at the Siskiyous on the road.

Butte 84, Shasta 69
The Knights trailed 41-32 at halftime. Shasta shot 6 of 29 (21 percent) from 3-point range in the game and was outrebounded 56-32. Aiden Pearsall-Morgan led the Knights with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists. Carson Kingston contributed 11 points, Benjamin Keown scored nine points and grabbed four steals and Aramane Collins and Kellen Gerig both came off the bench to score 10 points and nine points, respectively.

Siskiyous 71, Shasta 63
The Knights trailed by nine at half and outscored the Eagles 32-31 in the second half. However, Shasta shot 39 percent from the field in the game (24 of 62). Kingston turned in a team-best 18 points and nine rebounds, Keown scored 16 points, Gerig scored 12 points and Pearsall-Morgan dished eight assists to go with seven boards. Tyrese Christie scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench.
