KNIGHTS FALL SHORT AT FEATHER RIVER 88-86

QUINCY, Calif. – The Shasta College men's basketball team lost to Feather River on the road 88-86 to suffer its 19th straight loss and stay winless in Golden Valley Conference play.

Shasta trailed by 12 at halftime and stormed back before falling short in a one possession game. Feather River shot 15 of 31 (48 percent) from 3-point range and Shasta shot 48 percent from the floor in the contest. Benjamin Keown scored 18 points, Carson Kingston scored 16 points, Aiden Pearsall-Morgan contributed 15 points, six assists and four steals and Tyrese Christie added 11 points and seven boards. Aramane Collins scored 14 points of the bench and Kendell Gerig scored eight points to go with six boards for the Knights.

Shasta (0-5 GVC, 1-22) hosts Butte College on Feb. 7.
