GILROY, Calif. – Shasta College's men's basketball team lost 90-67 to Cabrillo College and 86-67 to host Gavilan College at the Andrel Gaines Classic.

Cabrillo 90, Shasta 67
The Knights trailed 47-28 at half and couldn't catch Cabrillo. Shasta shot 4 of 20 from downtown and committed 18 turnovers. Anthony Sanchez led the Knights in scoring with 17 points and Carson Kingston scored 14 points. Tyrese Christie scored nine points, Hunter Warren scored eight points, Aiden Pearsall-Morgan scored seven points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished six assists. Cabrillo made 14 3-pointers in the game.

Gavilan 86, Shasta 67
Shasta led by two at halftime but was outscored 50-29 in the second half. Benjamin Keown led the Knights in scoring with 23 points. Warren scored 12 points off the bench, Pearsall-Morgan scored eight points and Sanchez scored six points and pulled down six rebounds.

Shasta wraps up non-conference play with a 1-17 record and losing 14 straight.
