Samuel Torsey LHP (Foothill HS) has signed an athletic scholarship to Viterbo University in La Crosse Wisconsin. NAIA

"Sammy was a coach's dream. Excellent student, great competitor and an even better person", says Head Coach Brad Rupert. 

Torsey was part of one of the best comebacks in Shasta College history. Going 5 Innings allowing 1 R and 5 K all out of the bull-pen. This allowed Shasta to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th against a competitive American River team.

Shasta College Athletics is very proud of Samuel and wishes him the best in his future endeavors!
