Knight's baseball, Anthony Becerra LHP (Rancho HS NV) has signed with Division 1 Jackson State University, Jackson Mississippi. Becerra was 3-5 with 73.2 IP with a team high 62 K. Becerra is pitching this summer for the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks in the Alaska Baseball League. Head Coach Brad Rupert says, "Anthony worked very hard in the classroom as well as on the baseball field. His 3.8 GPA helped him land a full scholarship at a Div 1 school. That is very difficult to do. "
