Kelsey Joined Shasta College’s Women’s Beach Volleyball team as an assistant coach in the spring of 2024 honored with coaching the first cohort of Lady Knights at the sport’s dawn - being newly added to Shasta College’s line up of intercollegiate sports programs. Kelsey grew up in a competitive and adventurous family. Watching her three older sisters play sports sparked her lifelong love for volleyball. She played for Foothill High School and various travel club teams and later played one season as a Lady Knight at Shasta College until she injured her knee. As a result, continuing in her passion for volleyball, Kelsey turned to coaching, starting that very same year coaching high school volleyball in 2011. Kelsey’s love for the sport has inspired her to impact volleyball athletes at every level while coaching over the years.

Kelsey has a wonderful family. She married her husband, Daniel, in 2010 and took a little time off while her two beautiful daughters were babies. Fast-forward and we see that her spark is burning bright as ever as she coaches in full swing; in addition to coaching for Shasta College, Kelsey is currently coaching her daughter’s 12U club team for Northstate Volleyball Academy.
