HAMILTON, TROXCLAIR LEAD KNIGHTS PAST SISKIYOSU

REDDING, Calif. – The Shasta College volleyball team swept visiting College of the Siskiyous 25-14, 25-14, 25-19 on Friday to move to 4-2 in Golden Valley Conference play.

The Knights collectively had a hitting percentage of .306, their second-best mark in conference. Freshman Presley Hamilton led the way with 12 kills and sophomore Jennifer Troxclair recorded 11 kills and four service aces. Setter Sarah Ault dished 25 assists, registered seven kills and three aces. Olivia Sladek had one solo block and three blocking assists and setter Aliyah Rosado-Cruz totaled a team-best 14 digs.

Rosado-Cruz ranks fifth in the state in digs with 378 and ninth in the state in digs per set (5.73).

Shasta (4-2 GVC, 12-8) continues GVC play by hosting Lassen on Wednesday and Butte on Friday.
