SACRAMENTO – Shasta College's women's basketball team beat American River College 59-36 on the road for its second straight win.

The Knights jumped out to a 25-9 lead after the opening period and led 38-19 at halftime. Shasta outrebounded American River 43-28 in the game and finished with 17 steals. Graceyn Harlan recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds, both team-highs for Shasta.

Emma Gaddy contributed 11 points and seven assists, Creedence Shaver recorded eight rebounds, Ryleigh Hart had five points and seven boards and Kiley Johnson scored six points and grabbed seven boards off the bench. Gigi Velasquez scored seven points and had a team-high four steals.

Shasta (3-3) hosts Marin on Tuesday.
