MERCED, Calif. – Shasta College's swim team captured four individual events and two relays at the Merced College Last Chance Meet.

The Shasta men scored 305 points to take third behind Modesto (666) and Merced (657), respectively. Clovis (172) was fourth. The Knight men also won the 400 Medley Relay (3 minutes, 48 seconds). Jacob Thulin was fourth in total points with 56 and won two events.

The Shasta women were third with 109 points, following Merced (282) and Modesto (235), respectively. Clovis (91) was fourth. Gabrielle Mino was the high point winner for all 19 women with 60 points, capturing three victories.

MEN

Jacob Thulin collected 56 points. He won the 200 free (1:51.56) and the 200 back (2:06.39) and was third in the co-ed 200 breast (2:30.08).

Matthew Beam totaled 40 points. He was fifth in the 200 back (2:28.74) and was sixth in the 200 free (2:02.67) and co-ed 200 breast (2:40.39).

Kyan Klinger had 38 points. He was second in the 200 back (2:17.21), seventh in the 100 fly (1:01.23) and was ninth in the co-ed 200 breast (2:43.34).

Paden Nelson had 34 points. He was third in the 200 back (2:25.30), eighth in the co-ed 200 breast (2:42.86) and 10th in the 50 free (24.87).

Bradley MacLaren collected 33 points. He was second in the co-ed 200 breast (2:25.04) and third in the 50 free (23.07).

Alex Rhodes had 20 points, taking seventh in the co-ed 200 breast (2:42.64), 12th in the 200 free (2:18.75) and 14th in the 100 free (1:05.30).

Wyatt Gardner totaled 16 points. He was eighth in the 200 back (3:08.62), 12th in the co-ed 200 breast (3:35.07) and 20th in the 50 free (27.86).

Abby Freeborn-Priest had six points, taking 13th in the co-ed 200 breast (4:04.02), 15th in the 100 free (1:13.43) and 22nd in the 50 free (30.93).

WOMEN

Gabrielle Mino collected 60 points, winning the 50 free (26.34), the 100 free (59.06) and the co-ed 200 fly (2:23.84).

Kellie McGee totaled 49 points. She was second in the 200 back (2:34.48) and was third in both the 50 free (27.76) and 100 fly (1:14.93).
