PARHAM, EVANS LEAD KNIGHT SWIMMING IN FRESNO

REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's women's swim and diving team took third at the Arena Ram Crush Invite in Clovis over the weekend while the men were eighth. Combined, the Knights took sixth.

Shasta's Olivia Parham scored 110 points, tied for third among all women competitors. Howard Evans scored 88 points, good for fifth-most for the men.

WOMEN RESULTS
Parham finished in the top three in all six events including three wins. Parham won the 200-yard backstroke (2:15.96), the 200 freestyle (2:02.63), 100 back (1:02.42), took second in the 50 back (29.51) and 50 free (25.97) and third in the 500 free (5:41.36).

M'Kenzie Drill scored in five of her six events, taking seventh in the 200 back (2:31.74) and 200 free (2:14.26), 10th in the 50 back (33.41) and the 100 back (1:11.20) and 13th in the 200 Individual Medley (2:37.72).

Aida Kowalski placed in all six of her events. She was third in both the 50 back (30.47) and 100 back (1:07.21), fifth in the 100 free (58.88) and 200 back (2:29.88) and 13th in both the 100 IM (1:10.59) and 50 free (28.12).

Kelly Ludlow placed in four events, taking fifth in the 50 fly (29.97), 10th in the 50 breast (37.08) and (2:55.96) and 13th in the 100 breast (1:23.45).

Sidney Barnes scored in two events, finishing 12th in the 200 back (2:51.53) and 15th in the 50 back (34.67).

Audrie Reuss won 1-meter diving (185.25 points) and was second in 3-meter diving (157 points).

MEN'S RESULTS
Evans was the leading point total for the Knight men with 88 points. He had four top-five finishes, taking second in both the 100 free (49.53) and 100 IM (57.07), third in the 50 breast (28.64) and fourth in the 50 free (22.93). Evans was seventh in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.81) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:27.22).

Bradley MacLaren collected points in five of his six events. MacLaren was third in the 100 breast (1:02.87), fifth in the 100 IM (58.86), sixth in the 200 breast (2:26.90), eighth in the 50 breast (29.40) and 14th in the 50 free (23.74).

Logan Irwin won both the 1-meter diving (173.48 points) and 3-meter diving (204.15 points).

Matthew Stelle's top event was an 18th place finish in the 100 back (1:18.68) and Joshua Palmer's top event was a 24th place finish in the 100 IM (1:12.05).
