Coach Stacy Mizuta has been the head coach since 2020-2021. Before that she assisted former Northern California Coach of the Year, Jerry Brown for 10 years. Stacy is a graduate of North Valley Chritian High School where she earned League MVP her Junior and Senior year. She played basketball here at Shasta College where she earned a spot on the All-conference team. Stacy was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996. Before coming to Shasta, she coached JV and Varsity volleyball, basketball, and softball at North Valley Christian School for 6 years receiving "Coach of the Year" in 3 of those 6 years. 

Coach Mizuta resides in Redding with her husband, Eli and has 5 children. Their eldest is married and living in Tennessee, while their next two children are student-athletes, Knights, playing right here at Shasta College. Their two youngest are still in Jr. high and high school. "I love being a part of such a great community, where I grew up, and seeing my children have the same opportunity."
