Assistant Coach Leilani Jefcoat grew up in Redding and swam competitively from the age of six through high school. She is a graduate of Chico State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, and a Masters in Physical Education. Leilani has been involved in all aspects of aquatics from life-guarding to teaching swim lessons to coaching. In 1991, she began coaching young age group swimmers. Since that time, she has coached swimming at Foothill High School, the Redding Swim Team and Central Valley High School. She enjoys combining those outlets with the experience of teaching at a collegiate level here at Shasta College.
