SHASTA COLLEGE SWEPT AT HOME BY BUTTE

REDDING, Calif. – Shasta College's volleyball team was swept by Butte College at home Friday in Golden Valley Conference play, losing 25-16, 25-22, 25-19.

The Knights totaled eight kills in every set and freshman Jennifer Troxclair was the kill-leader for Shasta with eight kills. Freshman Olivia Kaczmarek had six kills and freshman Aliyah Rosado Cruz had a team-high 20 digs to go with 10 assists and five kills.

Sophomore Danae Ford had 11 assists and eight digs and freshman Charly Simpson added three kills in the loss. Freshman Brittney Patton racked up nine digs.

Shasta heads into the final week of the season 4-4 in GVC and 11-14 overall and plays at No. 2 Feather River Wednesday before hosting Lassen in the season finale and sophomore night on Friday at 6 p.m.
