SHASTA COLLEGE COMES BACK TO TIE LASSEN 3-3

SUSANVILLE, Calif. – Shasta College's women's soccer team scored two second-half goals in a rally to tie host Lassen College 3-3 on Tuesday.

Lassen surged ahead 3-1 at halftime due to the play of Brittany Anderson and Ziana Pang-Abas. Anderson scored twice, both set up by Pang-Abas, and also returned the favor by assisting a Pang-Abas goal.

Knights sophomore Paige Reed scored an unassisted goal in the 26th minute to trail by two at intermission. But freshman Bethany Sather assisted Reed for a goal in the 64th minute and freshman Meah Bush set up sophomore Kirstin Adams for an 88th minute goal to prevent the loss.

Sather recorded three saves in the draw.
