LEWIS, DHINSA PACE KNIGHTS IN WIN OVER FEATHER RIVER

Lewis, Dhinsa pace Knights in win over Feather River

QUINCY, Calif. – The Shasta College men's basketball team stayed unbeaten in Golden Valley Conference play with a 69-59 road victory over Feather River College on Saturday.

The Knights jumped out to a 37-22 lead at halftime and held off the host Golden Eagles while shooting 27 of 52 (52 percent) from the floor in the game.

Shasta was led in scoring by a pair of reserve players with Bekdoo Lewis contributing a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds to go with four steals and Armal Dhinsa adding 13 points. Samer Khalil chipped in with 10 points and Adam Shoff scored 10 points and dished four assists.

Shasta (2-0 GVC, 9-10) hosts College of the Siskiyous on Wednesday.
